What is going to happen to TSR?
I think it's going to be strange, in some ways, going back to YWS -- all the top posters here (Imp, DD) we're as active back on YWS. I'll have the most posts again! How weird.
Still, roll on the resurrection and all that.

But... but... but I'm puny on the other site! For crying out loud, I have so few posts it's pathetic! *this only just occurred to her... *_*

What is going to happen to TSR? I have no idea what Dusky's plans are, but I guess it'll just give people a choice. I have no doubt in my mind that some people are going to prefer TSR over YWS, and I'm sure there'll even be a few who will post exclusively at TSR. So if Duskglimmer keeps this site open, it'll live on. And by the way, did ya get my e-mail Jack? I'm curious as to what you think thus far

I feel a strange fondness for both, even though I have been on TSR much longer. I love both sites, and I'll do both. YWS will rock, as will TSR. They both bring writers together, right?

I'll read my e-mail as soon as, Nate, for some reason gmail is playing up!
EDIT: Got it working, at last.

I'll read my e-mail as soon as, Nate, for some reason gmail is playing up! I've been having the same problem all day. Guess g-mail is on the fritz everywhere. EDIT / UPDATE: I can't wait myself until July 31...

I have a thought. Don't know if it's possible but if nate can edit our post counts than couldn't he like add the posts from here ontp YWS. for those of us who cam in right at the end it's kinda sad to have to start over again. just a thought.

Regarding transferring posts from TSR to YWS, it ain't possible. I already looked into the possibility myself, and there's no way to export a database off of proboards. Rulke, right now the target date is July 31 with no real specifics as to timezone, especially since I have no intent on sticking to that target date Rather, YWS will open when it opens, and that day is getting very close. But, I will post a message Saturday giving everyone the exact date and an approximate time (I'll give it in GMT and EDT) of when to expect the site to reopen. Also, to give everyone a little idea of what to expect, you will have to update any bookmarks that you had. YWS will no longer be at youngwriterssociety.com/forum, but rather just at youngwriterssociety.com. It was only set up that way because I had originally planned back in November 2004 to set up a site around the forum, but then the forum became the site.

Sorry, DD, that would never happen, since it would screw up the whole database, everyone would have to lose all their old stories/poems which some people didn't back up. Also, keeping the old topics and everything is great to look back on. So

Hey, look at how long TSR has been open and how far you've already come. I have little doubt you'll have trouble building it up again. Oh, and Jack, I love your avatar! You've made me want to watch that movie again. *exalts*
