So, if you met a clone of yourself, how would you react..?
Scared? Angry? Confused?
I'm looking for specific actions, rather than just feelings, so what would you do?
Also, if you met someone else's clone, in what ways would you be able to tell that it wasn't them?
This may play a big part in my story.. so I need help with this..
Thanks a lot,
~Kay
PS. Clone in this story isn't like the scientific term, it's almost like someone who looks exactly like you, has the same voice etc. but isn't actually you. I can explain further if you need it.

If I met my clone, I'd be surprised and interested. I'm a fairly accepting person, so I wouldn't freak out, I'd just be really, really curious about them: where they came from, what they're like, what they've been doing all this time...
If I met a clone of someone else, I wouldn't know it was a clone: I'd probably just think they were behaving really strangely from picking up behavioural cues and odd things that the real person wouldn't normally do. I certainly wouldn't associate it with being a clone, unless cloning was a normal thing at the time.

If I met my clone...an exact replica...I think I'd be wary at first - but too curious not to try and understand where my double came from. Actually, with the wariness, I'd likely be set on uncovering just how much this person really resembled me - what did they think, how did they react...
But that would all be after the wary stage, in which I'd most likely say be extrememly taciturn.
If it were a sudden thing - if I just swung round a corner voila there's me in all physical similarities, I'd either stop dead or jump a meter off the ground (figuretively speaking).

What kind of clones are these, K, if not clones?

Hmm. A clone without being a clone.
First of all, it would probably be sudden. If someone explained to me that I had a clone, I'd think it was a joke and treat it like one.
So, if it was sudden, I'd probably be shocked. My clone might be also. We'd circle one another, maybe eyeing each other.
Then we'd interrogate one another, see what's going on.
After that, we'd start going to school together and what not.
Of course, the other possibility is like what happened in the James Bond movie "Thunderball" when that guy opens the door to find someone that looks exactly like him.
*knock knock knock*
One sec guys...
*Opens door to find his clone.*
"Wha-"
*Gets shot three times with a silencer.*
*Grif's clone finishes the post.*
So, in answer, I'd probably do nothing.

I would be extremely freaked out, but I would console myself that I was imagining things and then ignore myself as much as possible. It's better that way...

I'd say "what the heck!", and hit me/her over the head with a frying pan.

I'd probably be surprised. And then some. As to what I'd do, well, I'd pinch myself. And then if we werent dreaming, I'd probably start to laugh. Because thasswhatIdo.

I'd probably sit there in shock for a moment as I realized that I was staring at someone that looked exactly like me.
Then, I'd begin firing question after question at the person to prove to myself that just because the person looked like me, didn't mean that the person was me. In other words, I'd want to make sure that I was still different from them, had my own mind, was still one seperate entity with my own thoughts, feelings, ideals, beliefs, dreams, hopes and desires.

I'd prod it in the arm and say "You look just like me... freaky!" It would be pretty strange though I'd be intrested if they had the same musical or cartoon tastes as me. And if they had a higher sugar tolerance or not. If they could eat more than me I would be very very sad indeed.

I would get a serious pain in my chest from the shock. Because I'm an emotional girl I'll stare at it at first and then my eyes would probably water because I don't like it. I'd probably be shaking a lot, confused.
Yeah, then I'll ask questions. And if it sounds the same as me I would be really freaked out and say:
"Wow... I really do sound bad..."

Hard to say without actually meeting myself, but it'd be a very surreal moment. I'd probably be a bit freaked out.

I think after getting over the initial shock, I would love it. I've always wondered how other people see me, and would enjoy spending time with me. I think we'd have a lot in common, and I'd feel much less alone in the world. Not that I feel alone now, but I think it would be really cool.

Not to be a copycat or anything, but I'd probably react about the same as Bob. I'm just too lazy to type it. I might take mine to the mall though, to freak people out.
But then again, if you're saying what I think you're saying, I might hate my clone. 1, because they'd have their own personality which I might not like, and 2, They could have MY personality, which I also might not like. =)

Yeah, I have a very annoying personality. So if I ended up hanging about with me; I would end up really hating me and wanting to tell me to 'get' lost. Yeah... meeting an exact clone of yourself would make you realize what sort of person you really are.

Meeting a clone I think I'd be a little annoyed and vice versa but that depends if the clone is like me or different.
I'd probably try to find out HOW they came to life or may how I came because I might not know which one is me and which is the clone.
If I met someone elses clone I don't think I'll notice the difference unless its one of my family members and I KNOW them more than myself.
