Poorly written, poorly plotted, poorly characterized.
But very pretty. And had Angel. So, y'know, that makes up for it all.

It was entertaining. Though I second Smaur on those points... Still, comic books have a certain style of dialogue all their own. #_^ Perhaps it suffered as well from the directorial change - seemed ten times more frenetic than the other two. Jean Grey was creepy.
Fun movie...
A spin-off? For theatrical release?

Comic books may have a dialogue of their own (arguable), but it's not always BAD dialogue. (Comic books are a valid medium of their own, in the same way art is a medium and music is a medium, etc., etc., I'm sure you've heard the rant before.) The X3 dialogue was cliché and lame and bland.
But I did love it. Because it was gorgeous, and the post-credits scene (the one with Xavier? You saw that, right? Right?) was good fun. So, yeah.

You're right about X-3...sad dialogue - comic-book brand or no. Did the girl with all the piercings and tattoos bother anyone else, by the way? The actress seemed inordinately smug at being able to beat up Halle Berry (Storm).

Professor X...in a hospital - and a voice, wasn't it? It was late - I don't recall too well. But Xavier couldn't be gone, now, could he?

Callisto? No, but I did think the movie was innundated with WAY too many characters. Iceman needs to go explode somewhere off-screen. (Like Scott ... except in Bobby's case, I wouldn't actually care.)

I didn't really like it all that much, but it did have Wolverine AND Scott AND Angel AND Bobby, so it's not like I had much to complain about in terms of eye candy... lol... It was decent, but definitely the weakest of the three. I was especially disappointed in the dialogue, however. Lame lame lame.

He could, theoretically. He dies in the comic books ...

(Like Scott ... except in Bobby's case, I wouldn't actually care.) Not fond of Iceman? Oy - I wasn't too worried about Scott going, but it would have been sad for Bobby to explode, or implode, or disintegrate if Jean had got him... He could, theoretically. He dies in the comic books ... Not in the movie...not if they mean to sequel it as well.
