Well? Anyone want to try their hand at co-authoring?
A recent article in The Writer's Digest piqued my interest on the matter, "A Match Made in Maui", I believe it was called. And no, lol, you don't have to co-author anything with me necessarily. I was just wondering if anyone else had an interest in it - if a lot of people do, then I suppose this would sort of end up like an Advertise Your Work Thread, people experimenting with a different way of writing and what-not...

Though I may be rather short on time, it sounds like a worthwhile experiment. ^_^ ...always wanted to try something like it. ^_^

Lol, I believe the way it's conventionally done is by e-mails... each person takes turns writing a scene, that sort of thing. And lol Imp, I'm beginning to think you have some sort of radar, I posted this not five minutes ago and *Poof*! Imp arrives! ^_~ (Lol, a good thing... )

Out of curiosity, ever done this before, DD?

Hmm... I tried it once with Reas (And of that I can only give you one piece of advice - Never try to co-author with your brother.) So no, not really, as far as other writers go... but as you say, it's been something I've wanted to try for a long time... heh, though I've been procrastinating starting this thread for about ever... ^_~

I read that article too! I've been thinking about co-authoring something for awhile, and shriiek and I talked about doing something, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. I did a few chapters of a story with one girl on ff.net but we never finished it.

Hi 'Reida! That's pretty cool, though, that you read the same article... ^_^

Maybe I should start getting the Writer's Digest.. it sounds like they have some interesting articles.. I've always wondered what it'd be like to co-author something. It'd definitely be good in some ways, 'cause everyone has different talents. This means that both could contribute ideas, but one might be better at editing grammar, spelling errors etc. while the other might be better at research or something. So.. yeah, I'd like to.. it's just that I'd be worried about how easy it would be to share ideas over e-mail or pms. It'd be a lot easier in real-life.

Co-authoring has always sounded cool to me. It'd be fun to try it. It'd also be interesting trying to meld two writing styles together to creat a cohesive story that doesn't 'jump; whenever the writer changed. But yeah, that'd be really neat.

I was just thinking about this today, I'd like to do a fantasy. Seems like it could be fun. I'd need a partner though...
*hint hint*
