EBM, I got to watch the filming of Lords of Dogtown and some of my friends are extras. It was filmed in Imperial Beach which is literaly down the street from where I live.
Oooo, I love Bond movies; Sean Connery has to be my favorite Bond though, there is something about him that is just so suave. From Russia With Love is my favorite.
Hmm other favs: The Quiet Man, The Godfather Trilogy, The Wild One, History of the World Part 1, Monty Python et al., (the original) Manchurian Canidate...

History of the World Part I! I was watching that last night. And then me and my friend popped in good old Monty Python, to which we knew every word. Truthfully, they're not all that good of movies, but I love them.

I love that part. I sing along. But he made Space Balls, instead. Which I enjoyed pretty much the same, so all's well.

Donny Darko is pretty awesome, despite being a tad twisted. Garden State is an absolute classic of the classicness industry. Ferris Bueller's Day Off rocks my world (or are you all too young to remember that one ) as it should rock all of yours. A Streetcar Named Desire is one of those films that just knocks you off your feet the first time you see it. Legends of the Fall is so despressing it should be banned for angsty teenagers, but I loved it all the same (are you surprised?). V for Vendetta was pretty sweet, I've got to say, if only for the absolutely true political points. That's all for now, 'till I think of some more.

Donny Darko creeped me out something fierce (even though I love the movie) cause I watched it at about 3 in the morning, and the house was dark and no one was in it. It was all Frank's creppy voice.
Space Balls was good too.
Tigerland, I was trying to remember the name of this movie all this week. It ranks up there for me with Apocalypse Now for best movie about Vietnam.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch: I just adore Guy Ritchie ganster films. And Brad Pitt (in Snatch) as the Pikey is hilarious.
The Machinist is a movie about a machinist who is an insomniac. Relies heavily on a Dostoevsky perspective. This movie has some blood and gore but it well made, and the ending throws you for a loop. I really liked it.
O Brother Where Art Thou? I loved this re-telling of a classic.
Sophie's Choice, just watched it again recently, I heart this movie.
A Fish Called Wanda and Fierce Creatures never fail to make me laugh.
Grand Canyon is also a really good movie.

I really liked it. Oh, I love The Machinist. I still cant figure out how Christian Bale lost all that weight and gained it all back in time for Batman Begins.

I hated Legends of the Fall. And I couldn't figure out why I so despised it until I realized that it was fraught with existentialism. XD

I never liked Legends of the Fall either, but I don't think the existenialism was part of it. EBM, that weightloss was creepy. As for more movies... Four Brothers - Loved it! Loved it! Loved it even more! I Heart Hucklebees was good and funny too. Also The Truth About Charlie. I also always loved The Legend of Bagger Vance. Also I adore both the old Fever Pitch (Colin Firth) and the new Fever Pitch (Jimmy Fallon). Another two favs are American Beauty and Ordinary Decent Criminal. Oh and Greenfingers is a laugh.

The Peacemaker (it has Croatians, why not?), Saving Private Ryan (they had an awesome sniper), Gladiator (they did a really good job with the portrayol of the times. Plus it had Russel Crowe in it, so cool.), LOTR Trilogy (isn't this EVERYONE'S favorite?!?), Ghandi, Schindler's List, Tears of the Sun (Navy SEALS rock) and probably K-19. Big Fish and any of the Matrixes.
There's about a million and a half more, but I can't remember them right now. ^_^

The Truth About Charlie and Fever Pitch are pretty good. I've only seen part of Saving Privite Ryan, so I feel it's unjust for me to say much. But I certainly loved that section.
I really enjoy real life stories, and I find them very touching. Malcolm X, for example, I watched last night. Roots is pretty old, but it still made me sick. And there's another one that I can't remember and it's bugging me. I'll get back to you guys about it.
