I can't believe I forgot to say Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Stupid, stupid me.

I can't believe I forgot to say Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Stupid, stupid me. I second this. I should have said it, too.

Thank god you reminded me-Monty Python and the Holy Grail! IT SIMPLY PWNS ALL! Muahaha! In fact, I just watched an episode Monty Python's Flying Circus yesterday on t.v... terrifyingly funny show (afterwhich comes Mad TV). Other favourite movies-Der Untergang (The Downfall), Ko To Tamo Peva(Who's Singing Over There [watch this, and you'll learn to appreciate Yugoslavian comedy...]), Lord of the Rings, The Last Samurai (for a hollywood film, emotionally depicts the final struggle against the Imperial[Western influenced...] reforms of Japan), Mortal Kombat(the second blowed), and Beverly Hills Ninja. To name a few.

So many of mine have already been mentioned, so I'll add Shakespeare in Love. I adore that movie.

I'll forget a million, but...
Shawshank Redemption- Simply beautiful. So gorgeous.
Shaun of the Dead- I'll never look at 'Don't Stop Me Now' in the same light again.
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest- SOOO good
I also loved Take the Lead... if only for Antonio Banderas in a tux.
I saw half of Pulp Fiction and adored it.
X-Men movies! Woo!
And, finally, The Da Vinci Code- I went to see it twice because it was SO FUNNY. The lift claustropobia scene, most dramatic in the entire movie... hehe. I got so many in jokes from that, me and my friend annoyed the entire cinema, we were laughing so hard.
Watch this space, I'm very forgetful.

Donnie Darko and The Pianist and also Withnail and I Donnie Darko is such a wonderful mixture of a film, every scene in unforgettable. Jake in one of his first serious of roles, and oh my he really shines. The Pianist is totally heartbreaking but so beautifully made and Withnail and I because it's a classic with some hilarious scenes.
