After hearing some ppl rave on about this particular book, I decided to get a hold of it, to see what all the fuss is about. And oh my god. It is brilliant...and I havent even finished it yet. There seem to be a lot of spelling mistakes, which is unusual in a book, but, for me at least, this does nothing to detract from a really enjoyable read.
If you havent read it, read it.

Spelling mistakes? How so?
By the way, we're people, not ppl. Get it straight!
Still, I enjoy Ender's Game because it shows how leaders are impacted by difficult challenges and the necessity to succeed in all of them.

I enjoyed Ender's Game for a whole load of reasons. As Grif hinted at, it's not just an action book: it's very explorative and actually makes you think about things. The dialogue is excellent and snappy, and there's a real sympathy and realism about the characters.
Lastly, it opens the door to a whole series of books, all of which are absolutely unbelievable. One of the amazing things about Card is that he's managed to write nine or so books in the same series without the quality once.
Read it, love it. But you'll only like it if you're willing to think.

I've never read, but I've heard about it (well, I've heard the name praised anyways, never what the book is actually about).
Heck, I don't have anything to read the the moment anyways - I may just go order it off Amazon.
EDIT: Ordereded.

Its ppl until I say otherwise, grif, or until I have the energy to spell the whole word. Anyways, so there are other books with Ender in them? I just finished it and I am like in love with it.
